What You’ll Do

  • Build an architectural maturity model and roadmap to move teams from project work into stable production, while evolving execution toward Agile
  • Create architecture reporting views and visualizations that improve transparency, decision-making, and observability
  • Establish standard processes that speed decisions and improve how the team measures and monitors systems
  • Review and enforce architecture patterns for scalability, resiliency, reliability, stability, and availability
  • Help teams create safe deployment and rollback plans for major initiatives (including using AI where it makes sense)
  • Partner with stakeholders across the org to assess impacts, communicate changes, and spread best practices
  • Drive key architectural decisions to ensure standards and guidelines are met across initiatives
  • Apply distributed systems knowledge (race conditions, parallelism, concurrency control) to real-world design choices

What You Need

  • 7+ years hands-on, consumer-facing enterprise app development experience (including 5+ years in architecture)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making for technology selection and architecture best practices
  • Cloud solution architecture experience in at least one of: GCP, Azure, AWS
  • Expert understanding of architecture methodologies and best practices
  • DevOps tooling experience (Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, Git) and solid DevOps principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS and GCP experience
  • Experience with APIs, caching, web components, content management, web security, SSR/CSR, microservices, identity management
  • Mobile performance optimization (iOS/Android)
  • Modern JavaScript (ES6+), UI middleware
  • Packaging/bundling/library tooling
  • SAFe and Agile practice experience
  • Security-oriented project experience
  • Strong modern API design patterns
  • Comfortable adopting and implementing new approaches, including AI solutions
