What You’ll Do
- Define and uphold the visual style of a brand-new game from pre-production through launch
- Collaborate with concept artists, engineers, and designers to ensure style and functionality align
- Create and guide production of 3D assets, environments, and characters
- Mentor 3D artists and provide regular feedback across internal and external teams
- Develop efficient pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure technical excellence
- Manage the 3D team’s daily output, run meetings, and support career growth
What You Need
- 10+ years in 3D game development, with at least 3 shipped titles (including one mobile game)
- Expertise in Maya, Adobe Creative Suite, Unity, Zbrush, Substance Painter
- Deep understanding of lighting, baking, composition, and form across styles
- Strong cross-disciplinary communication and leadership skills
- Solid grasp of anatomy, both human and animal
- Art degree or equivalent professional experience
- Bonus: Rigging, shading, scripting (MEL/Python), Substance Designer, strong 2D skills
