Broadway Ventures is seeking a Java Developer to help build and scale our in-house integration platform. You’ll design, develop, and maintain integration solutions that connect internal applications and external partners across multiple platforms, ensuring our systems remain secure, vendor-agnostic, and future-ready.

Schedule
- Full-time, salaried role
- Remote U.S. based (with occasional in-person collaboration if located near Madison, WI)
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and optimize scalable integration solutions using Java and Apache Camel
- Develop and manage APIs for portability across multiple clients
- Build in-house integrations to replace vendor dependencies
- Connect systems via SOAP and REST for seamless communication
- Translate contracts and business needs into integration workflows
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve integration performance
- Document code, processes, and architectures for long-term maintainability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven Java development experience with integration frameworks (Apache Camel strongly preferred)
- Strong hands-on experience with SOAP and REST protocols
- Skilled in designing, consuming, and managing APIs
- Understanding of integration principles, scalability, and system interoperability
- Experience creating vendor-agnostic, portable solutions across clients
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Healthcare or Medicare integration experience is a plus
