- Up to 10% travel may be required
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT application controls (ITACs) across the enterprise
- Assess application controls and security configurations and perform data integrity/interface reviews
- Review walkthrough documentation and determine audit approach, timing, and procedures
- Execute SOX testing and build clear, complete workpaper documentation (objective, criteria, procedures, evidence, conclusions)
- Develop test plans for automated controls (approvals, tolerances/thresholds, validations, exception handling, segregation of duties, etc.)
- Test IPE/key reports by validating report logic, parameters, sources, completeness and accuracy, and retention
- Evaluate integrations/interfaces for completeness, error handling, and reconciliation
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and regulatory bodies as needed
- Identify process improvement opportunities that strengthen compliance and control efficiency
What You Need
- 2+ years of experience in IT audit, controls assessment, risk assessment, or risk consulting
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Comfortable working across both business and IT teams and communicating findings clearly
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, data analytics, finance, accounting, or similar field (or equivalent experience)
