Schedule
- Full-time, Remote role (U.S.-based)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across technology and compliance
What You’ll Do
- Respond to and resolve security incidents, and participate in incident response testing
- Test business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Evaluate and design security architecture across networks, applications, and data
- Design and implement cloud security strategies and controls
- Maintain and monitor the cyber risk register and mitigation plans
- Support audits, risk assessments, and third-party compliance reviews
- Conduct vendor risk assessments and monitor supplier compliance
- Oversee vulnerability management and remediation activities
- Monitor training campaigns and phishing response effectiveness
- Collaborate across teams and communicate security risks to leadership
What You Need
- 3+ years of IT security experience in a complex enterprise environment (healthcare strongly preferred)
- Experience with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH, PCI DSS)
- Hands-on knowledge of incident response and vulnerability management
- Experience with information security assessments and audits
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to design and analyze secure IT systems and configurations
- Preferred: prior HIT experience implementing federal privacy and security controls; expertise in security assessment methodologies
