What You’ll Do
- Provide engineering expertise for enterprise security projects and implement security standards company-wide
- Lead the vulnerability management program and coordinate with patching teams
- Act as SME for key security tools (CASB, vulnerability scanning suite, EPP, etc.)
- Research, test, and implement security solutions for detection, prevention, and containment
- Define product requirements, evaluate tools, and manage identity, access, and intrusion prevention systems
- Ensure effective incident response processes and periodic CIRT activations
- Track and report on security events, generate actionable reports, and recommend improvements
- Author technical documentation, processes, and as-build service configurations
What You Need
- 2+ years running network/security engineering or operations solutions
- Knowledge of IT security controls (firewalls, SIEM, NAC, CASB, DLP, IPS/IDS, encryption, authentication, tokenization, XDR/EDR tools, virtualization security)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft OS, UNIX, network design, VPN/TLS/SSH protocols, VMware/VDI, vulnerability scanners, and patching programs
- Experience with cloud security solutions
- Experience with Palo Alto Firewalls Suite (certification preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong risk assessment, remediation, and security documentation skills
