What You’ll Do
- Research, analyze, and tag all types of games with high accuracy to prepare for launch on Netflix and external app store platforms
- Ensure metadata quality and optimize it for discovery across platforms
- Share insights to enhance marketing and promotional strategies for priority games
- Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, creative services, content, and marketing teams
- Develop new game description and classification methods; improve classification workflows and quality control strategies
- Build connections between games and video classifications in partnership with film and TV teams
- Serve as a metadata subject matter expert for cross-functional education, research, and innovation projects
- Curate game selections to support member interface improvements and algorithm innovations
- Manage projects with clear communication, adaptability, and operational excellence
What You Need
- Experience in content classification, games development, publishing operations, app store optimization, or media writing/editing
- Passion for games across mobile, console, and PC platforms with strong industry trend awareness
- Ability to identify nuances in genres and styles and communicate findings clearly
- Strong judgment under deadlines and proven operational management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Analytical mindset with data trend interpretation skills
- Proficiency in Excel, Airtable, Google Sheets, and other data management tools
- Experience with kids’ games or international markets a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $70,000–$370,000, with choice of salary/stock option mix
