This role is for a hands-on full stack developer who can help Cardio Partners ship faster, cleaner, and more reliably. You’ll build and support web products end to end, contribute to UX decisions, and bring smart ideas to the table while staying accountable to scope, timelines, and quality.

Cardio Partners (a division of Sarnova) is a national leader in emergency prevention and an advocate in the fight against Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). They provide complete cardiac solutions including equipment, consultation, training, and program management, and distribute FDA-approved defibrillator devices.

- Remote for non-Central Ohio residents
- Must reside in the United States
- Work EST hours

What You’ll Do
- Develop high-quality product features within scope and on time, minimizing errors through strong engineering fundamentals
- Write hands-on code using established languages, specs, processes, and methodologies
- Test, analyze, and debug solutions across environments
- Provide production support, proactively identifying issues and implementing fixes
- Build Proof-of-Concepts to validate feasibility and approach
- Contribute to product and UX decisions as part of the development team
- Recommend tools and technologies that improve development speed and end-user experience
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and business stakeholders to align on delivery expectations
- Share ideas, work independently when needed, and consistently deliver on commitments
- Present and defend technical decisions grounded in sound programming principles
- Stay current with emerging tech and advocate for strong user experience and development standards
What You Need
- 2+ years of full stack development experience
- Ruby on Rails experience (required)
- Strong JavaScript and jQuery experience building rich client functionality
- Solid HTML/CSS and cross-browser layout skills across the full web stack
- Experience with responsive web development; mobile site/app exposure is a plus
- eCommerce experience (preferred, 1+ year)
- AngularJS, React, or another lightweight front-end framework exposure (plus)
- UI/UX and usability knowledge for mobile/tablet (plus)
- Familiarity with advanced SQL queries (preferred)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong time management with the ability to run multiple projects and hit deadlines
- Relationship-building skills across teams
- Self-motivated, action-oriented, curious, and comfortable challenging the status quo
