What You’ll Do
- Design and develop front-end web architectures connected to middleware and back-end services
- Build features across an evolving stack: JavaScript, TypeScript, MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js), NestJS, GraphQL, Kafka, Redis, SQL, and Jest
- Write clean, test-driven code and maintain robust unit tests
- Work with RESTful APIs and common formats (JSON, XML) to integrate services
- Collaborate with engineers, product, and other cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Apply security best practices to protect customer and company data
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Use agile methods and tools like Jira to help the team plan and hit sprint goals
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in front-end, middleware, or back-end development (or equivalent mix of education and experience)
- Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and at least part of the MERN stack
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web security basics, and performance optimization
- Comfort working with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest) and test-driven development
- Experience using collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Git) within an agile environment
- Any cloud or technical certifications from Amazon, Atlassian, Google, or Microsoft are a plus
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
