What You’ll Do
- Build custom WordPress themes and plugins from Figma design files
- Develop responsive, cross-browser websites optimized for speed and scalability
- Leverage Advanced Custom Fields and Gutenberg blocks for flexible site builds
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend developers to create seamless user experiences
- Write and maintain clean, efficient HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SASS/SCSS/LESS code
- Ensure ADA compliance and implement SEO best practices
- Use Git/Bitbucket for version control and perform cross-browser testing
What You Need
- Expert-level skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Strong experience with WordPress core, custom themes, and plugins
- Proficiency in Gutenberg block development and responsive design
- Hands-on experience with Flexbox and preprocessors like SASS/SCSS/LESS
- Familiarity with Git workflows and collaborative development practices
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and proactive problem-solving
Bonus Skills
- 3+ years of agency experience
- Experience with Angular, React, or other JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with ES6/ES2015, vanilla.js, and JavaScript compilers (Babel, etc.)
- Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks
- Knowledge of task runners (Gulp/Grunt/Webpack) and testing frameworks
