What You’ll Do
- Lead 3–5 Technical Leads across ~20 engineers building Bizee’s customer-facing product experiences
- Stay hands-on in code reviews, architecture discussions, sprint ceremonies, and retros
- Help squads ship weekly releases by improving execution, focus, and cross-team alignment
- Coach and develop Tech Leads with clear growth plans and next-level readiness
- Drive adoption of AI coding tools (Claude Code and similar) by modeling practical daily usage
- Partner with Product and Design to run outcome-driven squads that balance autonomy with alignment
- Improve quality by reducing production incidents through better engineering rigor, review standards, and debugging practices
- Hire to fill key gaps (including backfilling a Partner Enablement Tech Lead and adding 3–5 engineers as needed)
What You Need
- Experience managing Tech Leads or Engineering Managers and building leaders, not just strong individual contributors
- Comfort staying close to technical details: PR reviews, architecture tradeoffs, and production debugging
- Practical, personal experience using AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) with real productivity gains you can explain and show
- Strong delivery instincts: you can cut scope when needed, protect quality when it matters, and keep squads honest about commitments
- Full-stack fluency to evaluate tradeoffs across frontend and backend (you don’t need to code daily, but you can smell bad decisions early)
- Experience running cross-functional squads with Product and Design
