What You’ll Do

  • Own and evolve the design system component library to drive consistent, high-quality UX and faster delivery across teams
  • Lead development of a mobile application built for professionals on the go
  • Define and grow frontend architecture and technical strategy for scalable long-term growth
  • Manage and coach engineers through feedback, mentorship, and career development
  • Deliver frontend technical vision across web and mobile, ensuring architecture scales with the product and org
  • Review designs and influence implementation approaches to maintain strong frontend architecture
  • Balance feature delivery with UI modernization and platform investments
  • Translate business goals into clear technical direction so engineers understand impact
  • Build a psychologically safe team culture where people can ask questions, challenge assumptions, and experiment
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to shape roadmaps, make trade-offs, and tie engineering effort to outcomes
  • Champion usability, accessibility, and performance
  • Run team ceremonies (planning, grooming, retros) and help unblock cross-team initiatives

What You Need

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years building and debugging large-scale, cloud-based solutions
  • 2+ years managing, mentoring, and leading engineering teams
  • Strong React experience building production apps (reusable components, complex state via stores/context, performance tuning)
  • Experience with Lean product development and Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Ability to leverage LLMs to improve engineering workflows with a clear understanding of limitations and risks
  • Understanding of AI agent architectures/tooling (tool use, orchestration, MCP servers) and sound judgment evaluating adoption
  • Strong grasp of SOLID principles and design patterns
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve workflows, decisions, or execution
