What You’ll Do
- Own and evolve the design system component library to enable consistent, high-quality user experiences and faster delivery across teams
- Lead the development of a best-in-class mobile application for professionals on the go
- Define and mature front-end architecture and technical strategy for scalable, long-term growth
- Manage and coach engineers through feedback, mentorship, and career development planning
- Guide UI modernization efforts while balancing feature delivery and platform investments
- Review designs and influence implementation approaches to ensure strong front-end architecture
- Translate business goals into clear technical direction so engineers understand impact and priorities
- Build a psychologically safe team culture where engineers can question, challenge, and experiment
- Partner with cross-functional teams to shape roadmaps, align on trade-offs, and connect engineering work to business outcomes
- Champion usability, accessibility, and performance as core product qualities
- Lead team ceremonies and help unblock cross-team initiatives by sharing best practices
What You Need
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years designing, implementing, and debugging large-scale, cloud-based solutions
- 2+ years managing, mentoring, and leading engineering teams
- Strong production experience with React, reusable component design, complex state management, and front-end performance optimization
- Experience with Lean product development and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong grasp of SOLID principles and software design patterns
- Excellent collaboration, documentation, and communication skills
- Ability to leverage LLMs to improve engineering workflows (code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation) with sound judgment around limitations and risks
- Understanding of AI agent architectures and tooling (tool use, orchestration, MCP servers) and how to evaluate or adopt them responsibly
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, decision-making, or drive innovation
