    • Engineer II: $110,000–$130,000
    • Engineer III: $120,000–$145,000

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end development, testing, and integration of modern applications and systems across ESS
  • Build high-performance applications, APIs, and data solutions that support enterprise growth initiatives
  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions and drive innovative solution design
  • Flex between roles as an individual contributor, leader, teacher, or mentor to support team delivery
  • Develop a strong understanding of ESS business goals and deliver solutions that meet real needs
  • Continuously assess and optimize applications for performance and scalability

What You Need

  • 5+ years of backend development experience with:
    • Java + Spring Boot
    • Groovy
    • RESTful API design (including defining API contracts)
  • Front-end experience with modern frameworks (Vue.js preferred)
  • Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka or RabbitMQ)
  • Containerization experience (Docker; Kubernetes is a plus)
  • Strong SQL skills, including working across databases like DB2, SQL Server, etc.
  • Experience deploying applications to AWS (including CloudFront) and understanding cloud architecture for frontend apps (Azure is a plus)
  • Ability to work remotely (US or Puerto Rico) with reliable high-speed internet
  • Must be authorized to work without current or future sponsorship
  • Preferred:
    • Mulesoft experience for integration and API management
