Schedule
- Fully remote role within the U.S. (collaboration with global teams)
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and design leaders
- Blend hands-on service design delivery with leadership responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Lead service design across business units and projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Collaborate with the Service Design Director to define best practices and ways of working
- Solve complex business problems using service design methods and strategic thinking
- Champion service design internally, educating and guiding stakeholders
- Contribute to thought leadership and the evolution of service design tools/methods
- Plan, facilitate, and analyze qualitative/quantitative research to produce actionable insights
- Map complex backstage capabilities (technology, people, processes, policies)
- Create compelling narratives to communicate research insights and experience visions
- Facilitate workshops to align teams on problems, users, and end-to-end journeys
- Mentor service designers and coach teams in design thinking principles
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Service Designer in-house or at a design agency
- Track record of leading teams of varying sizes and scopes
- Strong portfolio showcasing service design methodology and problem-solving approach
- Proficiency with service design tools (blueprints, personas) and research methods
- Skilled in facilitating workshops and building consensus among diverse stakeholders
- Ability to create engaging, research-driven storytelling to inspire and align teams
- Strong relationship-building skills across multidisciplinary partner communities
- Experience coaching and mentoring service designers
