  • On-call responsibilities as needed

What You’ll Do

  • Design, provision, and manage AWS infrastructure with Terraform
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions for infrastructure and applications
  • Harden AWS networking and security, including IAM, VPCs, subnets, routing, and KMS
  • Operate containerized services with Docker and AWS ECS/Fargate, plus serverless workloads with Lambda and API Gateway
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with CloudWatch
  • Document architecture, runbooks, and disaster recovery processes
  • Collaborate with Security to maintain compliance and SOC 2 guardrails
  • Participate in incident response and reliability improvements

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering in AWS production environments
  • Strong Terraform expertise (modules, AWS provider v5/v6)
  • Hands-on GitHub Actions experience for CI/CD
  • Proficiency with Docker, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway
  • CloudWatch monitoring and alerting expertise
  • Strong coding ability (Python, TypeScript, Go, Terraform/HCL)
  • Solid understanding of cloud security fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS or Terraform certifications
  • Databricks experience (clusters, jobs, permissions, networking)
  • Streaming/data pipeline knowledge (Kinesis, EventBridge Scheduler)
  • Experience with federated identity (OIDC, SAML, Cognito, Entra ID)
  • Compliance automation, SOC 2 evidence tooling
  • On-call and incident response experience
  • Policy-as-code (SCPs, IAM boundaries, OPA/Conftest)
  • Secrets management with AWS Secrets Manager or SSM Parameter Store
