Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and optimize desktop systems and small-scale networks
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and OS issues
- Perform upgrades, enhancements, and system administration tasks
- Maintain system standards, documentation, and quality controls
- Support new technology evaluations, testing, and deployment
- Work closely with Service Desk, networks, and cross-functional IT teams
- Collaborate on technical plans and desktop/network strategy
- Participate in government project coordination and reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years experience (or equivalent exp.)
- Strong background in desktop support, systems administration, and deployment
- Experience with Microsoft and macOS environments
- Hands-on with COTS software/hardware in enterprise settings
- Excellent communication and user-facing support skills
- Required certifications:
- A+
- MCSA or MCSE (MCSE may substitute for MCSA)
- MCP/MTA
