Schedule
• Full-time remote role (must live in Utah)
• Collaboration with engineering, analytics, data science, and application development teams

What You’ll Do
• Design and maintain scalable, secure data architecture for transactional and analytical systems
• Build custom Azure Function Apps in Python to ingest data from APIs into Snowflake
• Develop and maintain data models, database schemas, and data dictionaries
• Establish and enforce data governance standards, ensuring data quality, compliance, and security
• Partner with application developers, data scientists, analysts, and business teams to design data solutions
• Oversee ETL/ELT processes for data integration and migration
• Evaluate and recommend new tools, platforms, and data technologies
• Optimize performance across data pipelines, warehouse layers, and cloud systems
• Document data flows, system designs, and architectural decisions
• Support Snowflake and other cloud data platform administration
What You Need
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Architect or similar role
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong SQL expertise
• Proficiency in Python and experience deploying Azure Functions
• Familiarity with API design and consumption
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Deep understanding of data modeling, data governance, warehousing, and lake architecture
• Ability to partner with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels
Preferred Skills
• Experience building or managing Operational Data Stores (ODS)
• Master Data Management (MDM) knowledge
• Experience with dbt and orchestration tools (Airflow, etc.)
• Knowledge of HIPAA, SOX, or other compliance frameworks
• Experience in healthcare or financial industries
