Schedule

  • Part-time, contract position (approx. 1 month)
  • ~20 total hours of work expected
  • Development of a 30-minute presentation slide deck and related hands-on activity
  • Remote role (US or Canada)
  • Date & Time (tentative): Monday, November 10, 7:30–8:30 pm ET

Responsibilities

  • Develop engaging and accessible curriculum for AI Learning Lab #1: Foundations, Frameworks, and Why Data is King
  • Draft and write lessons, case studies, and interactive activities tailored for high school students
  • Introduce AI concepts, terminology, machine learning types, ethics, and data quality principles
  • Collaborate with Correlation One’s Content Developer to align curriculum with organizational vision
  • Review and iterate on existing content, ensuring accuracy and relevance
  • Participate in team meetings and peer reviews to refine materials
  • Deploy content on proprietary platforms (training provided)

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum design and technical writing (STEM/AI focus)
  • Strong knowledge of AI fundamentals, including machine learning, GenAI, and responsible AI practices
  • Ability to adapt complex topics into accessible lessons for youth (ages 14–18) with varying skill levels
  • Experience with secondary education pedagogy or youth-focused curriculum design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and peer review skills
  • Familiarity with inclusion and equity principles in curriculum development
  • Passion for education, AI, and empowering the next generation of technologists

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with gamification, real-world applications, and problem-based learning
  • Prior experience with virtual curriculum delivery and remote collaboration tools

Compensation

  • Hourly contract rate (USD) based on experience and location
  • Transparent pay structure, with compensation decisions considering skills, education, and prior work
