Schedule
- Freelance, $30–$40/hour (based on experience)
- Remote (U.S.-based)
- PST core hours (M–F, 9 AM–6 PM PT)
What You’ll Do
- Capture cinematic gameplay, stills, and marketing assets from Roblox, Fortnite, and metaverse platforms
- Prepare project files for editors, including proxies, synced dailies, and organized stringouts
- Scout in-game locations, test functionality, and plan creative shot lists
- Coordinate in-game avatars for capture sessions, including costumes and bookings
- Create marketing-ready visual assets for social and promotional use
- Collaborate with creative directors, editors, and producers to align on vision
- Use tools like OBS Studio, Roblox Studio, and FreeCam for optimized capture
- Conduct quality checks on game builds and flag technical or visual issues
- Stay current with gaming trends, UGC culture, and emerging platforms
What You Need
- 3+ years of gameplay/metaverse content capture experience
- Strong eye for cinematography and in-game storytelling
- Proficiency with OBS Studio, Roblox Studio, FreeCam, and similar tools
- Solid communication and collaboration skills
- Experience supporting post-production workflows in Adobe Premiere
- Understanding of social media formats, aspect ratios, and content requirements
- Familiarity with gaming culture, especially Roblox and Fortnite
Nice to Have
- Basic editing skills in Premiere; familiarity with After Effects and VFX workflows
- Experience with additional avatar-based platforms (Zepeto, Decentraland, Sandbox)
- Understanding of blockchain mechanics and NFTs
- Production experience in camera or data management roles
