• First-response on-call style responsibilities (incident-driven)
What You’ll Do
• Monitor cloud health and provide first-response to incidents impacting customer experience
• Troubleshoot issues across systems, networking, and storage (from single instances to cloud-wide events)
• Ensure maximum uptime for global infrastructure
• Automate repeatable tasks and build tools to improve operational efficiency
• Coordinate operational changes across teams with minimal customer impact
• Use monitoring and incident management tools to detect, track, and resolve issues
• Document fixes and processes clearly so the team gets stronger over time
What You Need
• Strong troubleshooting mindset across Linux systems and/or networking
• Experience with virtualization and diagnosing VM instance issues
• Familiarity with containerization and troubleshooting containers
• Solid IPv4 networking fundamentals (CCNA-equivalent knowledge)
• Basic storage concepts and common technologies
• Experience with monitoring systems and incident management practices
• Scripting ability in Bash, Python, or Ruby
• Familiarity with configuration management systems
• Strong documentation habits and clear communication
• Ability to learn fast and adapt during outages
