Schedule
- Full-time, remote position (preference for candidates in Pittsburgh, PA, or North Carolina)
- On-call rotation for 24×7 support
- Occasional night and weekend work during maintenance windows
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain Citrix environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and compliance
- Manage disaster recovery and business continuity services, including leading periodic test exercises
- Serve as a subject matter expert in datacenter infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and hypervisors
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Citrix AppDelivery, Netscaler, and StoreFront systems
- Oversee backup, archive, and cloud infrastructure integrations (Dell/EMC, AWS, Glacier, Cloud Endure)
- Support VMware hypervisor environments, Windows Server OS, and Group Policy management
- Develop scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to automate system administration tasks
- Ensure compliance with SOC1/2, SOX, HIPAA, HiTrust, PCI DSS, and ISO27001 standards
- Collaborate across teams to align business requirements with secure, scalable solutions
What You Need
- 5–7 years of experience managing Citrix environments in enterprise settings
- 5–7 years of VMware administration experience
- 5–7 years of experience with enterprise hardware (compute, storage, networking)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong skills in infrastructure security and compliance frameworks
- Proficiency in scripting and automation for system administration
- Experience managing financial budgets and resources
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead technical teams
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Avaya telephony solutions
- Familiarity with AWS cloud environments and enterprise-grade networking
- Strong background in customer-facing hosted applications
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $110,000 – $115,000 annually (based on experience and location)
