What You’ll Do
- Assist in lifting and shifting existing products to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Deploy, manage, and validate GCP applications using command-line tools
- Write and execute queries to configure GCP applications and ensure smooth operations
- Use Jenkins, Git, and other tools to pre-stage and manage software deployments
- Troubleshoot system and network behavior using Unix commands
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-native solutions aligned with business goals
What You Need
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with:
- GCP networking and application models
- Containerized applications (Docker, Google Kubernetes Engine)
- Terraform for infrastructure automation
- Databases: MySQL or Postgres
- Programming: Python, JavaScript, C++, NodeJS, and Bash
- GNU Toolchain for building C++ code
- Microservices on Linux/Unix platforms
- Experience deploying scalable cloud solutions and troubleshooting performance issues
- Google Cloud Certifications preferred: Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer

First 3 Months:
- Learn Hatch’s application architecture and development process
- Collaborate with product management to scope, plan, and rapidly develop new features

- Identify opportunities for improvement in mobile systems and team processes
By 6 Months:
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of iOS mobile applications for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi-enabled IoT hardware
- Debug issues across app, cloud, and firmware domains, making informed system-level tradeoffs
- Serve as Tech Lead on a cross-functional feature team, shaping the architecture, scope, and delivery of key projects
After 1 Year:

- Balance long-term strategic development with immediate business priorities
- Partner with design, product, and business teams to deliver best-in-class user experiences
What You Need
- 6+ years of experience building mobile applications for iOS
- 4+ years of technical leadership, including team and project management
- Expert proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and Swift Package Manager
- Experience structuring large iOS apps involving 10–20+ developers
- Familiarity with CI/CD and delivery tools (Fastlane, TestFlight, GitHub Actions, Ruby/Python/Shell scripting)
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, JSON, and cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
- Bonus: Experience with IoT devices and connected ecosystems
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Passion for using technology to solve meaningful consumer problems
