What You’ll Do
- Develop and enforce design templates, standards, and HCD principles
- Plan, manage, and execute usability testing for key application releases
- Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to define scenarios and prototypes
- Analyze feedback and drive usability improvements across platforms
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors, Visual/Interaction Design, or related field
- 4+ years applying Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles to digital interfaces
- 4+ years in UX research, visual design, and usability testing for web/mobile products
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead design sessions with diverse teams
- Experience presenting UX findings and methodology to stakeholders at all levels
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Ovo Studios CaptureUX
- Familiarity with California Statewide usability standards and templates
- Previous work with State of California agencies
