What You’ll Do

  • Develop and enforce design templates, standards, and HCD principles
  • Plan, manage, and execute usability testing for key application releases
  • Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to define scenarios and prototypes
  • Analyze feedback and drive usability improvements across platforms
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Factors, Visual/Interaction Design, or related field
  • 4+ years applying Human-Centered Design (HCD) principles to digital interfaces
  • 4+ years in UX research, visual design, and usability testing for web/mobile products
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead design sessions with diverse teams
  • Experience presenting UX findings and methodology to stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Ovo Studios CaptureUX
  • Familiarity with California Statewide usability standards and templates
  • Previous work with State of California agencies
