Principal Software Engineer – Remote

This is a principal-level builder seat, not a slide-deck architect gig. You’ll write production code most of the week, lead architecture across product and platform, and ship AI-powered features that create real customer value for 1M+ entrepreneurs.

About Bizee
Bizee (formerly Incfile) has helped over 1 million entrepreneurs start and run their businesses and is evolving into an AI-powered operating system for entrepreneurs. They move fast, value craftsmanship, and want engineers who build with AI as a core part of how products get designed and shipped.

  • Regular use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) with measurable productivity gains
  • Strong collaboration and influence through craft, pairing, and design sessions
  • Preferred: experience in SMB or prosumer products, e-commerce, legal tech, fintech, or compliance-heavy industries

IT Principal Solutions Architect – Remote

If you love the front end of big government work, where the solution gets invented, priced, and sold before it ever gets built, this is that lane. You’ll lead high-priority pursuit architecture, define the technical “win,” and translate messy client needs into scalable, compliant solutions that delivery teams can actually execute.

About Maximus
Maximus supports government and public-sector missions with technology and operations. This role sits in the growth engine, shaping competitive solutions for federal pursuits and helping the business win new work.

Schedule

  • Full-time, remote (United States)
  • Multi-time-zone collaboration expected
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required security clearances
  • U.S. Citizenship required (program requirement)

What You’ll Do

  • Lead solution design and strategy for major government pursuits (pre-RFP through proposal)
  • Translate client requirements into solution elements and architecture views
  • Define technical win themes, differentiators, and reusable components
  • Create and deliver presentations and demos for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support RFI/RFP/RFQ responses, including whitepapers, technical volumes, and concept development
  • Collaborate with capture, pricing, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are viable and cost-realistic
  • Build transition plans that cover operational readiness, training, and adoption
  • Drive innovation using emerging tech and industry best practices (cloud, cybersecurity, AI/ML, etc.)
  • Mentor other solution architects and guide technical teams through transitions
  • Partner internally and externally, including contributing to open-source improvements when relevant

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10–12 years of relevant professional experience (or equivalent combination of education/experience)
  • Deep understanding of government IT landscape, compliance requirements, and proposal processes
  • Experience leading solution development for competitive government procurements
  • Expertise in at least one major domain (cloud, cybersecurity, AI/ML, data, etc.)
  • Knowledge of security standards, compliance frameworks, and risk management
  • Estimation and pricing strategy experience (solution cost realism matters here)
  • Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments across multiple time zones

Benefits

  • Health insurance coverage
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Retirement savings plan
  • Paid holidays and paid time off
  • Additional incentives may apply depending on program and performance

This role is big-league capture architecture. If someone’s background is mostly delivery-side architecture (building after the contract is won) and they’ve never owned a proposal, pricing inputs, or win themes, they’ll feel that gap fast.

Senior Engineer – DevOps – Remote

If you like being the person who makes the whole machine run, this is that kind of role. You’ll build and maintain the DevOps and configuration management backbone for an upcoming federal health program, supporting teams delivering medical readiness services to remote and underserved communities.

About Maximus
Maximus supports public-sector programs with technology and operational services. This role supports a pending federal contract that coordinates medical readiness services through a provider network and mobile teams.

  • Create automation scripts for build, deployment, and versioning
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues tied to version control and CI systems
  • Define and promote standards and best practices across the team
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to other team members as needed

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • 7+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years in Salesforce development
  • Strong experience with Salesforce APIs and integrations
  • Proficiency with Apex, JavaScript, and REST APIs
  • Experience with middleware tools (MuleSoft, Boomi)
  • Experience with DXHub and integrating with federal health systems

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability and willingness to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Benefits

  • Health insurance coverage
  • Retirement savings plan
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Paid holidays and paid time off
  • Additional incentives and program-specific rewards may apply

One quick heads-up: even though the title says “DevOps,” the guts of this posting lean heavily Salesforce + federal health integrations. If your DevOps strength is more AWS/Kubernetes pipelines and less Salesforce/DXHub, this might be a mismatch on day one.
