What You’ll Do

  • Set up secure, replicable Linux environments, firewalls, and user access
  • Design and manage deploy flows, load balancing, and failover systems
  • Administer cloud-based infrastructure (AWS S3, EC2, CloudFront, etc.)
  • Maintain and improve systems using Linux, PostgreSQL, Redis, Ansible, Ruby on Rails, Go
  • Implement scalable streaming architecture with Kafka and ClickHouse
  • Develop and maintain back-end applications, preferably in Ruby
  • Document solutions clearly and concisely

What You Need

  • Strong Linux administration skills
  • Experience with provisioning tools (Chef, Ansible, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Network stack and TCP/IP expertise
  • Advanced programming in 2+ languages (Go, Ruby, JavaScript, Python, Bash, C)
  • PostgreSQL and relational database knowledge
