Responsibilities

  • Design and develop business functionality in multi-tier web solutions while improving code quality and infrastructure
  • Build scalable, testable solutions for website applications and conduct code reviews
  • Follow best practices for security, coding standards, architecture, and documentation
  • Contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle (planning, design, implementation, deployment, operations, and support)
  • Optimize site performance and SEO for Crate & Barrel and CB2 online shopping platforms
  • Work within a cross-functional Agile team, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, execution, and retrospectives
  • Communicate effectively with associates and business partners, promoting teamwork

Requirements

  • 3+ years of .NET development experience
  • Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, JavaScript, Visual Studio/Code
  • Relational database experience (SQL Server, MySQL); NoSQL a plus
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, AngularJS, Node.js, jQuery)
  • Hands-on experience with Chrome Developer Tools and debugging methods
  • Practical understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (MSTest, NUnit, Cypress, Mocha/Jasmine) and mocking (Moq)
  • Proficiency with BitBucket/Git for source control
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • MVC web development experience, ideally in eCommerce solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
