Responsibilities
- Design and develop business functionality in multi-tier web solutions while improving code quality and infrastructure
- Build scalable, testable solutions for website applications and conduct code reviews
- Follow best practices for security, coding standards, architecture, and documentation
- Contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle (planning, design, implementation, deployment, operations, and support)
- Optimize site performance and SEO for Crate & Barrel and CB2 online shopping platforms
- Work within a cross-functional Agile team, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, execution, and retrospectives
- Communicate effectively with associates and business partners, promoting teamwork
Requirements
- 3+ years of .NET development experience
- Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, JavaScript, Visual Studio/Code
- Relational database experience (SQL Server, MySQL); NoSQL a plus
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (ReactJS, AngularJS, Node.js, jQuery)
- Hands-on experience with Chrome Developer Tools and debugging methods
- Practical understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (MSTest, NUnit, Cypress, Mocha/Jasmine) and mocking (Moq)
- Proficiency with BitBucket/Git for source control
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- MVC web development experience, ideally in eCommerce solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
