Engineering Manager, Product – Remote

If you’re the kind of engineering manager who stays close to the code, cares about real delivery metrics, and knows how to get squads moving faster without lighting production on fire, this role is built for you. You’ll lead product engineering squads that own the full customer journey and help roll out AI-native development practices across the team.

About Bizee
Bizee (formerly Incfile) has helped over 1 million entrepreneurs start and run their businesses, and they’re evolving from a transaction-first company into an AI-powered operating system for entrepreneurs. They value grit, speed, clarity, and shipping work that speaks for itself.

Schedule
Full-time, remote (U.S.).

What You’ll Do

  • Lead 3–5 Technical Leads across ~20 engineers building Bizee’s customer-facing product experiences
  • Stay hands-on in code reviews, architecture discussions, sprint ceremonies, and retros
  • Help squads ship weekly releases by improving execution, focus, and cross-team alignment
  • Coach and develop Tech Leads with clear growth plans and next-level readiness
  • Drive adoption of AI coding tools (Claude Code and similar) by modeling practical daily usage
  • Partner with Product and Design to run outcome-driven squads that balance autonomy with alignment
  • Improve quality by reducing production incidents through better engineering rigor, review standards, and debugging practices
  • Hire to fill key gaps (including backfilling a Partner Enablement Tech Lead and adding 3–5 engineers as needed)

What You Need

  • Experience managing Tech Leads or Engineering Managers and building leaders, not just strong individual contributors
  • Comfort staying close to technical details: PR reviews, architecture tradeoffs, and production debugging
  • Practical, personal experience using AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) with real productivity gains you can explain and show
  • Strong delivery instincts: you can cut scope when needed, protect quality when it matters, and keep squads honest about commitments
  • Full-stack fluency to evaluate tradeoffs across frontend and backend (you don’t need to code daily, but you can smell bad decisions early)
  • Experience running cross-functional squads with Product and Design

Benefits

  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)
  • Virtual wellness resources
  • Work from home

This role is not for “strategy-only” managers. They’re telling you up front: you’ll be expected to show recent code review activity, walk through how you use AI tools, and talk through a real production incident you helped debug.

If that’s you, move.

Technical Lead, AI Platform – Remote

If you’re the kind of builder who ships production AI systems, sweats cost and reliability, and still writes most of the code yourself, this role is built for you. You’ll lead the AI platform squad that powers every AI feature across Bizee’s product teams.

About Bizee
Bizee (formerly Incfile) has helped over 1 million entrepreneurs start and run their businesses. They’re evolving from a transaction-first formation company into an AI-powered operating system for entrepreneurs, focused on real outcomes, real scale, and production-grade craft.

Schedule
Full-time, remote.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and operate shared AI infrastructure used by product squads across the company
  • Ship a production AI gateway with model routing, rate limiting, cost controls, and observability
  • Create a shared LLM integration framework (prompt management, versioning, guardrails, evaluation)
  • Design scalable model serving infrastructure for real-time and batch inference
  • Implement automated evaluation pipelines for LLM outputs and AI system reliability
  • Improve AI developer experience through clean APIs, documentation, and reusable patterns
  • Collaborate with Platform, Data & Analytics, and product technical leads to define integration standards
  • Review PRs, mentor engineers, and set engineering practices for the AI platform squad
  • Help hire and grow the team to 3–4 engineers and establish on-call and operating rhythms

What You Need

  • Proven experience building and operating production AI/ML infrastructure (model serving, inference pipelines, LLM gateways, or similar)
  • Hands-on LLM application development experience (prompting, RAG, guardrails, production tradeoffs)
  • Daily use of AI coding tools (they specifically call out Claude Code)
  • Strong platform mindset: designing systems other engineers consume, with strong documentation and developer experience
  • Experience implementing cost controls and scale strategies for AI inference (routing, caching, optimizations)
  • Experience leading or tech-leading a small engineering team (2–5 engineers) while remaining highly hands-on
  • Business outcome orientation (conversion, retention, efficiency), not just model metrics
  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving, remote, high-ownership environment

Benefits

  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)
  • Virtual wellness resources
  • Work from home

This is not a “manager who delegates” role. They want a hands-on technical lead who proves it every sprint.

Take your shot while it’s fresh.
