What You’ll Do
- Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from multiple sources
- Apply performance best practices (tuning, partitioning, clustering) to optimize queries and workloads
- Follow data quality standards, governance frameworks, and security policies for data access and storage
- Develop and optimize data models and schemas for analytics, reporting, and machine learning needs
- Partner with data scientists and analysts to integrate datasets with BI tools and ML workflows
- Create and maintain documentation for pipelines, workflows, and processes
What You Need
- 2+ years of applicable work experience
- Strong Python skills focused on ETL pipeline development
- Strong SQL skills, including complex query development
- Experience deploying data pipelines in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical partners
- College degree or certification in a related field
