What You’ll Do
- Lead development of AI systems for retrieval, ranking, categorization, and generative AI features
- Deliver outcomes by aligning AI projects with business objectives
- Design AI system components to tackle complex healthcare data problems with scalability and maintainability
- Maintain and operate AI systems at production scale for reliability and performance
- Ensure rigor in scientific decisions with proper datasets, metrics, and architectures
- Mentor peers, promote best practices, and contribute to hiring top AI talent
What You Need
- Proven experience building and operating production AI systems (Search, Ranking, Generative AI) at scale
- Success in leading 0→1 AI projects from prototype to production
- Full lifecycle experience: ideation, modeling, deployment, and maintenance
- Strong ability to connect abstract modeling tasks to business value
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, and production tools (Databricks, AWS Bedrock, Azure ML)
Preferred Skills
- Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in AI, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related field
