What You’ll Do
- Translate 2D references into accurate 3D models with proper geometry and topology
- Source additional references to resolve incomplete or unclear details
- Create high-quality models in multiple categories:
• Hard surface: vehicles, props, machinery
• Organic: humans, animals, plants
• Environments & architecture: buildings, landscapes, set pieces - Iterate on assets based on feedback and maintain quality standards
- Document process and problem-solving steps clearly
What You Need
- Degree in 3D Art, Animation, Game Design, or related field—or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with industry tools such as Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Houdini, or 3ds Max
- Familiarity with texturing/UV workflows (Substance Painter, Mari)
- Strong portfolio showcasing hard surface, organic, and environmental modeling
- Solid understanding of anatomy, form, and materials
- Collaborative mindset with comfort in iterative feedback-driven workflows
