🔍 What You’ll Own
- Build the next-gen internal platform that enables self-service infrastructure provisioning, deployments, and monitoring.
- Lead Loop’s transition to multi-region AWS architecture: think cross-region replication, active-active systems, and global load balancing.
- Champion progressive deployment strategies: feature flags, canary releases, blue/green deployments, and immutable infra.
- Shape and evolve our Site Reliability practices: SLOs, chaos testing, observability, and MTTR reduction.
- Mentor a diverse team of DevOps, MLOps, and DBAs, and help them grow into Loop’s future engineering leaders.
- Contribute hands-on with Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, and join high-priority incident response when it counts.
🧠 What You Bring
- 4+ years leading DevOps/SRE teams, and 7+ years building scalable infrastructure at a hands-on level.
- Deep AWS expertise with high-throughput, multi-region environments powering $100M+ in GMV.
- Mastery of Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Kubernetes, including policy-as-code and secrets management.
- Obsessed with observability—you’ve shipped with Datadog, Prometheus, or similar stacks.
- Security-first mindset: comfortable operating in regulated environments (PCI, SOC 2, GDPR).
- Empathetic leadership style that fosters inclusion, psychological safety, and accountability.
💰 Compensation & Benefits
💸 Salary: $152,000 – $228,000
