🧾 About the Role
Trunk is building the next-gen Developer Experience platform, and we’re looking for a DevRel Engineer to help us educate, inspire, and grow our global developer community—especially as we expand into the AI space. This is a hybrid role where you’ll be writing, coding, presenting, and shipping resources that make developers’ lives easier.

• $140K–$190K base salary + equity (.1%–.3%)

📋 What You’ll Own
• Build out Trunk’s DevRel content strategy across blogs, social, video, and docs
• Write technical content, code samples, and tutorials across multiple channels
• Produce videos, screencasts, and partner integrations
• Own and improve developer docs (docs.trunk.io) as our product suite grows
• Engage with community: Slack, forums, events, open-source collabs
• Act as a voice of the developer, shaping how we speak, teach, and build
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 3–5+ years as a professional software engineer
• Strong writing skills across long-form, tutorials, and social
• Ability to create high-quality screencasts and videos
• Comfortable presenting to technical audiences (on camera or live)
• Experience building partnerships and engaging with dev communities
• Solid understanding of DevRel strategy and developer journey mapping

• Experience contributing to open-source
• Strong visual eye for charts, infographics, and presentation decks
