🔎 What You’ll Own:
- Architect & execute the Power BI roadmap—semantic models, dashboards, architectural standards
- Lead technical discussions; define best practices, governance, security, optimization (DAX, Power Query, custom visuals)
- Develop scalable and performant BI solutions with guidance to stakeholders
- Partner with data engineering; ensure robust and secure data flow
- Document architecture, build test frameworks, and lead code reviews
🧠Must-Have Traits & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s (or equivalent experience) and 7+ years in BI, including 4+ years hands-on Power BI
- Deep expertise in Power BI semantic design, DAX optimization, paginated reports, dimensional modeling
- Strong SQL skills; familiar with Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, Databricks, ETL/ELT processes
- Knowledge of data governance, security, Azure services, DevOps, and automated testing frameworks
- Leadership experience: mentoring, technical decision-making, cross-team collaboration
