🧾 About the Role
TIAG is hiring a Junior Information Assurance Analyst to support cybersecurity efforts across key Department of Defense systems. This role is primarily remote and centers on Risk Management Framework (RMF) support, documentation, and compliance. ✅ Position Highlights
• $65,000 – $75,000 per year
• Full-time, primarily remote
• Active Secret Clearance required
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required
• Focused on RMF and federal cybersecurity compliance
📋 What You’ll Own
• Develop and maintain RMF artifacts in eMASS (SSPs, RARs, SARs, POA&Ms)
• Conduct security control assessments aligned with NIST SP 800-53 and DHA guidelines
• Coordinate with cybersecurity stakeholders (ISOs, ISSMs, AOs)
• Manage RMF milestones for IATTs, ATOs, and reauthorization timelines
• Support IV&V efforts for cybersecurity posture evaluations
• Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities from ACAS scans and assessments
• Support continuous monitoring of systems and controls
• Ensure HIPAA compliance for applicable medical devices and systems
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 2+ years of RMF lifecycle experience (DoD or federal systems)
• Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity, IT, Info Assurance, or related (Associate’s with added experience may substitute)
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certified (Security+ CE, CySA+, or CND)
• Active Secret Clearance or Interim
• Familiar with eMASS, ACAS scanning, vulnerability management
• Strong grasp of NIST RMF, DOD cybersecurity processes, and HIPAA standards
• Organized, proactive, and comfortable collaborating with federal teams
