Trunk is building the DevEx platform to empower teams to write better software, faster. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you’ll work directly with founders and designers to build performant, scalable tools used by engineering teams around the globe. This is a high-impact, remote opportunity to help shape a company backed by top-tier investors like a16z and Initialized Capital.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Build user-facing features using React/Next.js and backend support via Node/gRPC
• Design and maintain APIs, data models, and pipelines
• Ensure robust observability via analytics, monitoring, and alerting
• Collaborate cross-functionally to conceptualize, test, and launch new tools
• Deliver production-ready features across the stack with reliability and speed
• Improve developer experience by contributing clean, scalable solutions
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 3+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
• Strong product sense and ability to design intuitive, accessible UI
• Proficient in React, Node, and cloud-based architecture (AWS is a plus)
• DevEx mindset: clean code, strong testing habits, and a hunger to improve workflows
• Experience debugging complex issues across systems (frontend to data layer)
• Clear communicator and collaborative problem-solver
• Willingness to learn, iterate, and grow with the team
