Nightwatch is searching for a passionate Front-End Developer to help create cutting-edge tools for internet professionals. You’ll join a globally distributed team building smart, beautiful, high-performance single-page applications (SPAs) using modern JavaScript, CSS, and Ember.js (or a willingness to learn). 📋 What You’ll Own
• Build elegant, performant SPA applications from the ground up
• Craft responsive layouts and maintain CSS architecture
• Work across design, engineering, and backend teams to deliver seamless UI
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
• Tackle browser performance issues and resolve UX bottlenecks
• Occasionally touch backend code (mostly Ruby on Rails)
• Contribute to visualizations, data displays, and user-friendly tools
• Be a reliable, consistent presence in our lean, asynchronous workflow
🎯 Must-Have Traits & Skills
• Advanced experience with modern JavaScript
• Strong CSS knowledge—familiarity with frameworks like Tailwind or Bootstrap
• Clear understanding of UX principles and visual feedback
• Experience writing front-end tests
• Proficiency or high interest in Ember.js
• Strong communication, time management, and self-direction
