Foodsmart is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to help build scalable, mission-driven technology that makes nutritious food accessible and affordable. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Design, build, and maintain fullstack features across our digital platform
• Collaborate with product managers, dietitians, and fellow engineers to deliver user-centered solutions
• Translate complex foodcare needs into scalable software
• Own project components from planning through deployment
• Improve technical documentation and engineering best practices
• Lead by example and mentor junior developers


🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 5+ years of experience as a fullstack engineer
• Deep knowledge of frontend (React or similar) and backend technologies (Node.js, Python, etc.)
• Strong understanding of system architecture, databases (PostgreSQL preferred), and API design
• Passion for mission-driven work, ideally in healthcare or consumer-facing tech
• Strong communication, autonomy, and team collaboration skills
• U.S.-based and authorized to work in the U.S.
