This freelance role blends creative ideation with production, developing animated content that grabs Gen-Z and Millennial audiences. You’ll collaborate with marketing and publishing teams to create standout animations—balancing high-quality polish with agile turnaround. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Develop animated content and motion graphics for webcomics and original IP
• Partner with writers, designers, and art directors to build ad creative
• Storyboard, illustrate, and animate social-native content
• Balance speed and quality—meeting fast-paced marketing needs
• Customize animation per-platform (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
• Stay current with animation trends, meme culture, and WEBTOON fandoms
• Own full-cycle projects or plug into larger creative collaborations
• Communicate with project managers to meet deadlines and specs
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 4+ years in 2D animation (agency, studio, in-house, or freelance)
• Strong portfolio with social-first animation work
• Solid character animation and object/scene animation techniques
• Skilled at storyboarding and illustration
• Self-starter with collaborative mindset and time management skills
• Clear communicator who thrives in creative teams
• Culturally tuned-in with social content trends

• After Effects expert with Adobe Suite fluency (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
