📋 What You’ll Own
• Lead JAD sessions and usability workshops with clients and end users
• Translate requirements into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Create and maintain responsive web designs across platforms
• Write and apply clean HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Enforce design standards, accessibility, and cross-browser consistency
• Refactor and modernize legacy web apps with performance in mind
• Collaborate with developers and UX experts to balance form and function
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• BS in Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of proven web design success
• 2+ years of experience with responsive/adaptive design
• Human-Centered Design (HCD) experience
• Proficiency in screen mockup tools and end-user testing
• Strong written/verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• High-level proficiency in MS Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, Excel
🧩 Bonus Points
• Experience designing for government or large-scale public sector tech
• Familiarity with Java, JSF 2.1/2.2 (PrimeFaces), .NET (C#), and mobile UI/UX
• Previous work on CX solutions or accessible design frameworks
