The Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF), the world’s largest online design school, is looking for a skilled UI designer fluent in Figma to help lead the full visual redesign of their platform. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Lead a long-overdue visual overhaul of the IxDF platform
• Transition core flows from Sketch/Zeplin to Figma using best practices (components, tokens, variant libraries, etc.)
• Redesign UI elements with attention to hierarchy, grids, shadows, borders, and interactions
• Maintain and evolve a scalable design system across all products
• Work closely with devs, content strategists, and product leads
• Contribute to the brand identity across touchpoints—web, video, and learning experiences
• Shape intuitive, world-class design for a platform used by IBM, SAP, and 170k+ alumni
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 5+ years of professional UI design experience
• Deep expertise in Figma (auto-layout, variants, tokens, etc.)
• Strong visual skills: typography, layout, color, micro-interactions
• Comfortable owning systems and holding dev teams accountable
• Organized and execution-focused—gets stuff done without perfectionism paralysis
• Strong collaboration skills across remote, multidisciplinary teams
• Values clarity, excellence, and high performance in a no-drama team
• Based within EMEA time zone
