Lightboard partners with marketing teams from growth-stage tech companies and established brands to deliver high-quality design work quickly and efficiently—without the bloat of a traditional agency. We create websites, presentations, PDFs, branding assets, and illustrations for clients like Autodesk, GitHub, Microsoft, and innovative emerging companies.

We’re seeking a well-rounded, results-focused freelance designer based in the U.S. who can bring marketing strategies to life with exceptional craftsmanship. This is a great opportunity to work across multiple brands, industries, and styles—without the stress of client wrangling, weekend work, or after-hours demands.


âś… Position Highlights
• Freelance, remote role (U.S. only)
• 10–30 hrs/week – flexible scheduling
• $35–$65/hr (based on experience and portfolio quality)
• Invoices paid within 14 days of project completion
• No weekend or after-hours work


📋 What You’ll Do
• Design marketing materials including websites, presentations, PDFs, ads, and social media graphics
• Work with a variety of clients through creative services managers (no direct client contact required unless you want it)
• Collaborate with other designers, illustrators, and developers on complex projects
• Maintain brand consistency while bringing fresh creative ideas to each engagement


🎯 Must-Have Skills
• Strong portfolio showcasing branding, layout, and digital design for modern B2B companies
• Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (Sketch and Figma a plus)
• Experience designing presentations in PowerPoint and Keynote
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Professional, collaborative, and client-savvy mindset

• Illustration or animation
• Experience with Webflow, WordPress, or email templates
• Light web development skills
• Ability to keep calm when Illustrator decides to crash mid-project
