đŸ§Ÿ About the Role

Lightboard is on the hunt for a freelance Webflow developer with a keen eye for design and clean, responsive builds. Whether you’re a designer diving into dev or a WordPress pro making the switch, we’re all in—as long as you bring smart solutions and pixel-perfect instincts. You’ll collaborate closely with our art directors and account managers to breathe life into crisp, user-friendly marketing websites, email templates, and more for top-tier B2B clients.

đŸ”„ About Lightboard

We’re not a “full-service agency.” We’re something sharper. Lightboard delivers high-quality design at startup speed—trusted by names like Autodesk, GitHub, and Microsoft. We thrive on precision, speed, and craftsmanship, cutting the bloat of traditional agencies and focusing on what matters: getting great work out the door.

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Rebuilding and redesigning WordPress sites in Webflow, guided by mockups and creative direction
  • Building B2B marketing websites: homepage, features, pricing, and content pages
  • Creating responsive, on-brand email templates (Marketo, Hubspot, Mailchimp)
  • Collaborating with art directors and account managers to solve problems fast and beautifully
  • Handling minor tweaks, quick client changes, and “that wasn’t in the brief” surprises with ease
  • Sometimes supporting conversion landing pages using Unbounce or InstaPage
  • Testing your work in Litmus or across devices to ensure top performance

✅ Must-Haves

  • Strong Webflow experience (show us your work!)
  • Previous work with WordPress
  • Solid grasp of HTML and CSS—you know what’s under the hood
  • Email template experience (hand-coded + builder tools like Marketo/Hubspot)
  • Fluent, responsive communicator with great time management skills
  • Based in the United States and freelancing full-time (no side-giggers, please)

🚀 You’re a Great Fit If

  • You care about the details. That typo? You saw it. That off-kilter padding? You fixed it.
  • You’re curious, coachable, and fast on the uptake
  • You’re not afraid to color outside the lines when the client changes the picture
  • You love creating structure, clarity, and elegance in code—and pushing your craft
