We’re hiring a Web Design and Usability (UX) Consultant to help shape high-impact customer journeys grounded in human-centered design. • Full-Time or Contract
• Fully Remote (U.S.-based)
• May require occasional travel to Sacramento, CA
• Cross-industry clients, high-impact CX focus
• Influence UX at the strategy level
📋 What You’ll Own
• Develop templates, guidelines, and design standards based on HCD principles
• Conduct usability tests for all major releases and analyze the results
• Collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams to define personas, prototypes, and user journeys
• Lead design sessions, present findings, and champion the user voice
• Apply research to guide digital product improvements across web and mobile
• Ensure real-world usability aligns with intended design
• Translate UX insights into clear deliverables for executive and non-technical stakeholders
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Bachelor’s in Human Factors, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or similar
• 4+ years applying Human Factors and HCD principles
• 4+ years of UX/UI design for web/mobile
• 4+ years planning and executing usability research
• Strong storytelling, data analysis, and presentation skills
• Confident leading stakeholder sessions and design reviews
• Clear communicator across technical and executive audiences
💻 Remote Requirements
• Must be based in the U.S.
• Available for some travel to Sacramento, CA as needed
• Reliable home workspace and professional presence
