WaveStrong, Inc. is looking for a Senior Microsoft Security Consultant to support and expand a high-impact enterprise cloud security program. This 6–8 month remote contract is built for a subject matter expert with deep command of Microsoft’s security suite—especially Entra ID, Defender tools, Purview, and Conditional Access. If you’ve led large-scale implementations across cloud and hybrid environments, this role offers the chance to shape real security outcomes in the field.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Lead integration and operationalization of Microsoft Security tools across cloud and hybrid infrastructures
• Deliver deep technical guidance on configuration, tuning, and deployment strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce enterprise security policies
• Provide mentorship and best practice guidance across departments
• Drive cloud security posture management, threat protection, identity defense, and data compliance at scale

🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Proven expertise with Microsoft Entra ID and Conditional Access Policies (required)
• Hands-on implementation of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Cloud Apps, Identity, and Office 365
• Experience with Defender for Cloud (including CSPM, CWP, and DevSecOps integration)
• Strong command of Microsoft Purview (Information Protection & Compliance)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune (for endpoint management and enforcement)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel use case development and tuning (preferred)
• Ability to consult confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Self-starter comfortable working remotely with enterprise clients

🎓 Preferred Certifications
• AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
• AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate
• AZ-305: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
