🧾 About the Role
WaveStrong, Inc. is hiring a seasoned Encryption Engineer (HSM) for a 6-month remote contract. You’ll take the lead in deploying encryption and key management systems across cloud and virtualized environments. This role demands a deep understanding of HSM solutions and secure networking fundamentals. If you’re confident configuring CipherTrust, Luna HSMs, ProtectDB, and cloud key management solutions while working closely with enterprise clients, this one’s for you.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Deploy and configure encryption managers in VMware, Hypervisor, AWS, Azure, and GCP environments
• Implement and support HSM and encryption tools including Luna, CipherTrust, ProtectDB, ProtectApp
• Advise clients on secure network configuration (DHCP, VLANs, static IP, bonding)
• Serve as primary technical contact for deployments and internal mentor for the WaveStrong team
• Conduct client training and technical knowledge transfer sessions
• Deliver high-quality professional services and product presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Hands-on experience with HSM deployments and key management systems
• Familiarity with network setups (static/DHCP IPs, VLANs, bonding)
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, NTFS permissions, PowerShell scripting, and Group Policy
• Solid experience with virtualization tools (VMware, Xen, KVM, Docker)
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and application security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting firewalls and routing tables; Cisco knowledge is a plus
• Comfortable with identity and access management tools (SAML, RADIUS, 2FA, LDAP, AD, Sun Directory)
• Proven ability to lead customer-facing technical engagements
