Instructure is hiring a creative and experienced Instructional Designer to join its fully remote team. You’ll collaborate with institutional leadership, SMEs, and instructors to design engaging, accessible online learning experiences within Canvas LMS and related Instructure tools. 📋 What You’ll Own
• Design and build content in Canvas LMS, Credentials, Mastery Connect, and Elevate Standards Alignment
• Collaborate with clients to develop accessible, objective-aligned curriculum
• Create custom visual assets using tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, or Google Draw
• Use HTML and the Rich Content Editor to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards
• Facilitate remote or on-site instructional workshops
• Manage multiple small-to-medium scale projects and client communications
• Apply UDL and instructional design best practices across course formats
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• Proven Canvas LMS instructional design experience
• Strong portfolio of digital course builds and visuals
• Familiarity with WCAG 2.1, UDL, copyright, and edtech tools
• Proficiency in graphic design software and HTML
• Effective communication, organization, and active listening skills
• Bachelor’s in education, design, marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred but not required)
