Simetrik is looking for a seasoned Cloud Engineer to help stabilize, scale, and secure our platform infrastructure. You’ll work side-by-side with the Head of Tech and development teams to build automated, cost-efficient systems using AWS, Terraform, and modern DevOps tools. This is a high-impact role where your infrastructure decisions directly shape product growth and reliability.

📋 What You’ll Own
• Automate and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for speed and stability
• Monitor and improve production service uptime and observability
• Collaborate with engineers to streamline code deployment and testing
• Tackle AWS cost optimization and ensure security best practices
• Continuously refine infrastructure in line with the AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Support the lifecycle of services from staging to production
🎯 Must-Have Traits
• 4+ years in cloud infrastructure or DevOps roles
• Advanced Terraform skills and deep AWS experience (ECS, RDS, EC2, S3, Batch, etc.)
• Solid grasp of networking, security, load balancing, and scalability
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness)
• Strong scripting in Python or Bash
• Familiar with observability stacks (Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
• Docker fluency and best practices for container management

• Experience with Kubernetes or ECS Fargate
• Exposure to compliance-heavy or mission-critical environments
